Pokolbin Vintners

Pokolbin Vintners is produced by winemaker Brendan “Kaz” Kaczorowski, who launched his own label after gaining access to an exceptional Shiraz site on Pokolbin Mountain—an opportunity too good to pass up.

The vineyard sits on a north-east-facing slope at the top of Ian Tinkler’s property, sheltered by the Brokenback Mountain Range. Planted in rich red clay and limestone soils, the site shares the same renowned terroir as the iconic Tyrrell’s Old Hillside and Mount Pleasant vineyards, making it a truly classic Pokolbin site.

Everything old is new again. This is a modern interpretation of the classic “Hunter River Burgundy” style: light, vibrant, and unmistakably Hunter Valley.
